Lincoln is very new addition to The Guild Theatre, joining in January of this year. His first, favourite, and only production with the Guild so far is Our Town. Lincoln has no only brought his enthusiasm to the Guild but also good deal of experience and study for a performer of his young age. He has studied short performing courses at NIDA including workshops on improvisation, audition technique, and screen testing. He has also been undertaking work experience at The Shopfront theatre where he has also appeared in stage and worked behind the scenes. He says Our Town has been ‘A wonderful opportunity with an experienced cast and production team, to learn about putting on a play.’
Lincoln enjoys a good game of cricket or golf, either as a player or just watching with his Dad and family. He also confesses to watching too much YouTube and eating too much chocolate. His other hobbies include ‘trying as many different versions of Spaghetti Bolognese as I can and watching the St.George Illawwarra Dragons win.’
‘Community theatre helps me gain experience in acting and production as I would eventually like to work within the industry.’ – Lincoln Edwards
