Sue grew up onstage appearing in school and church productions and performed in Helen de Paul pantomimes. She later toured with the De Paul dancers in the club and cruise circuit.
Sue joined the Guild theatre in 1982 and has enjoyed many roles onstage and behind the scenes. Her most recent shows as director are Calendar Girls, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Boeing Boeing. It’s My Party (And I’ll Die If I Want To) and The Holly and The Ivy.
Other theatre productions include various plays for the Short and Sweet Festival – most recently Mountain Women where she appeared as actor, writer and director. Sue also directed and acted in The Memory Of Water for the Woodstock Players, as well as various self-devised projects during her study at UNSW attaining her BA majoring in theatre studies in 2003.
